Lonegan Responds to Space’s Latest Attack

Newton, N.J. – “I’m surprised that Parker Space would rehash his ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ lie that his handlers came up with in 2017 to cover-up the fact that he got a Confederate flag tattoo in the aftermath of the murder of nine churchgoers in South Carolina.

“I’ve seen an inventory of his tattoos, made by Commissioner Jill Space, and she clearly states what it is. I’ve also seen an accompanying photo of some open skin where she said they were thinking of locating a tattoo of the General Lee (the Dukes of Hazzard car with the Confederate flag), just in case they were asked about it again. It’s in writing.

“This was all brought up at a meeting of Sussex County GOP leaders and elected officials held on March 18th of last year. After that meeting, Parker Space agreed to not run for re-election.

“Yes, I was happy to stand with Parker when I thought he was telling the truth. But I have since learned that he lied to all of us – to me, to his constituents, to the people of New Jersey. Parker Space back-stabbed the people who elected him and he back-stabbed the people who came to his defense, like me.

“I never used the term ‘racism’ but if Parker has a guilty conscience, I can see why he has defensively brought it up. Why doesn’t Parker Space try explaining the philosophy behind his support for the Confederate flag? And if he can’t, maybe his supporters can.

“Let’s hear from Local 825 about where they stand on the Confederate flag? How about Tony Bucco or Aura Dunn or Brian Bergen or Dawn Fantasia and Mike Inganamort? Is Dawn’s school pro-Confederate flag or anti? Maybe all these people will go out and get their own Confederate flag tattoos to show their support for Parker.

“Opposing racism isn’t ‘far-left’. It is good old-fashioned American common sense.

“Parker Space isn’t ‘authentic and honest’, he suffers from a juvenile sense of fashion. Going around made up like you belong in some biker gang isn’t a good look for anyone over 25.

“Getting a Confederate flag tattoo after a national tragedy doesn’t make you a conservative. It makes you a fool. And if you think your Confederate-meme brand of “conservatism” is the future for the NJGOP, I look forward to continuing this conversation.”
