MacArthur Meets with Governor Christie at the White House on Opioid Addiction

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman MacArthur released the following statement after meeting at the White House with Governor Christie and other members of Congress for an Opioid Listening Session:

“As Chairman of the Bipartisan Heroin Task Force, I remain committed to doing all I can at the federal level to give communities the resources to combat this disease, which is taking too many too early. Governor Christie continues to lead on this critical issue and it is incumbent upon us in Congress to work with state and local leaders to find solutions that will help save lives.”
