Veteran New Jersey Budget and Legislative Expert Robert Garrenger joins MAD Global advisory board as the firm grows its footprint, opening an office in Trenton

Robert Garrenger has unparalleled work experience at the highest levels of the New Jersey state government. With nearly three decades of government service, including 25 years in the Office of the Governor (1998-2023), Garrenger has held various titles including Deputy Chief Counsel to the Governor, Budget Counsel to the Governor, Senior Special Counsel for Finance, acting Chief Counsel to the Governor, Deputy Attorney General, and Assistant Attorney General. In these capacities, Garrenger was entrusted with the responsibility to devise and implement strategies to achieve priorities outlined by the Governor, the State Treasurer, and the Attorney General. He also oversaw and represented the Governor and the Executive Branch in the legislative and budget process.
