STATEMENT: Make the Road NJ Responds to Amazon Facility Incident in Robbinsville, NJ

On behalf of Make the Road New Jersey, a grassroots immigrant and workers rights organization, Craig Garcia issued the following statement: “Amazon is notorious for keeping warehouse workers in awful working conditions and today, we have yet another egregious example here in New Jersey. Today workers are in the hospital, and every single day the high-stress work environment and virtually non-existent protections are putting people in danger. We deserve better in New Jersey–namely, employers who value their staff, do not put them in harm’s way, and compensate them fairly for their work.”
