Earns A+ Rating From Top Corruption Watchdog End Citizens United

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Congressman Tom Malinowski was awarded an A+ rating from End Citizens United for his aggressive pursuit of campaign finance reform and government transparency his campaign announced today, on the 10th anniversary of the Citizens United Supreme Court decision.

Malinowksi made the fight against corruption a central tenet of his 2018 congressional race and has kept his promise as a Member of Congress, swearing off corporate PAC contributions and fighting hard to pass the For the People Act; a sweeping package of campaign finance reforms designed to eliminate the corrupting influence of money in our electoral system resulting from the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling decided 10 years ago today.

“While I’m proud to be recognized among the top corruption fighters in Congress, I’m saddened that such a distinction must even exist. Restoring trust in our institutions and protecting our elections is vital to our democracy and I urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to take up this fight.” said Malinowski.
