Malinowski Outraises Lance More than 2 to 1

(Rocky Hill, NJ) According to reports released by the Federal Election Commission today, the Tom Malinowski for Congress Campaign more than doubled Rep. Leonard Lance’s fourth quarter fundraising.  Malinowski did not loan his campaign any money and maintained his public commitment not to accept corporate PAC contributions.  With $528,000 raised, and $446,000 cash on hand at the end of the fourth quarter, he posted the best opening fundraising quarter of any Congressional challenger in New Jersey history.

“Our success shows just how enthusiastic voters of the 7th district are to replace their Congressman.  I am humbled by the confidence they have placed in our campaign and am committed to giving Lance the most competitive and aggressive contest he has ever faced,” Malinowski said.

“This is a seat that Republicans have held for 37 years and it will take significant resources to flip the district.  Raising half a million dollars in your first quarter of fundraising is very significant and clearly positions Tom as the Democrat best equipped, and most likely, to beat Leonard Lance,” added Malinowski’s Campaign Manager, Colston Reid.
