Malinowski Outraises Lance for Second Straight Quarter
(Bridgewater, NJ) With nearly $480,000 raised in the first quarter of 2018, the Tom Malinowski for Congress Campaign has, for the second time, outraised Republican incumbent Rep. Leonard Lance, this quarter by more than $150,000. In just two quarters of fundraising Malinowski has exceeded over $1 million raised and is sitting on $740,000 cash on hand.
“It speaks volumes that an incumbent who has been in Congress for 10 years cannot outraise a first time candidate. Voters in the 7th district have given Leonard Lance a chance and he has failed to deliver for them year after year. They are done rewarding career politicians who lack the will and influence to get anything done. He’s lost the support of his constituents. That must be why so many of his contributions come from corporations,” said Malinowski’s Campaign Manager, Colston Reid.
“We are so fortunate to have the resources to give the voters of 7th district the race they deserve, and doing it the right way. Not corporate PAC money, and no dark advertising. We’re going to give CD7 a campaign and a congressman they can be proud of,” said Malinowski.
