January 24, 2022

Lumberton, NJ: The new Chairman of the Lumberton Township Republican Committee is Mark Galey. He was elected unanimously on Thursday night. Mark is a life-long native of Lumberton. Since 2015, he’s been actively involved with Republican and conservative politics. He has made a career out of grassroots organizing and has worked on local, county, and state legislator races throughout Burlington County and South Jersey.

“Mark is the right person to take the reins and make sure that Lumberton gets on the right track,” said outgoing Lumberton Republican Chair Lewis Jackson. “Lumberton has significantly benefited from Republican leadership in the past, and I know it will soon once again. Mark will bring new life and a winning attitude to the Lumberton GOP. I look forward to seeing the committee flourish and grow under his leadership.”

“I am thankful that our former Chairman, Lewis Jackson, and the rest of the committee see the value that I bring to the Lumberton Township Republican Party,” said Galey. “Currently, the Democrats have complete control over the local government. Republicans want a seat at the table in Lumberton. We have one seat up for election in 2022, and we plan on winning it.”
