Captain Mark Kelly and former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords to join Mikie Sherrill for Discussion on Gun Violence Prevention

Fairfield, NJ — Tomorrow Mikie Sherrill will join former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and Captain Mark Kelly with voters, members of VoteVets, students and medical professionals, to discuss the ways gun violence is impacting our community, the lack of congressional action to address the nation’s growing gun violence epidemic, and what must be done to save lives.



This event is part of a Giffords & VoteVets Veterans Tour with military veteran candidates running for office who are committed to taking action to address gun violence. Giffords is the gun safety organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Captain Mark Kelly, in partnership with VoteVets, an organization established to give veterans a voice on issues that impact the communities they served.
