MAYOR ANDRE SAYEGH & NJCDC TO UNVEIL GREAT FALLS GATEWAY MURALS

MAYOR ANDRE SAYEGH & NJCDC TO UNVEIL GREAT FALLS GATEWAY MURALS

Among the murals are a celebration of the lives Paterson’s founder Alexander Hamilton and

Paterson native sons Larry Doby and Lou Costello.

PATERSON – Mayor Andre Sayegh together with New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) CEO Bob Guarasci will unveil murals commissioned by Halls That Inspire, a local arts non-profit.

As a strategic effort to beautify Spruce Street, the location of the NJCDC headquarters and gateway to the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, large outdoor murals were created at a building restored by NJCDC and the site of an early childhood education organization.

The murals were made possible through New Jersey’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program, which has been an important part of NJCDC’s toolbox to revitalize the Great Falls Neighborhood of Paterson and to provide Patersonians with programs and services to help them succeed.
