Mayor Andre Sayegh’s Latin Rumba

It was a Latin Rumba indeed!  Amidst the salsa music, there was an exciting buzz in the air of   Di’Classico Restaurant on Thursday night as major Latino leaders are bulking up their political operations and rallying behind Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh.

The surge in Hispanic support is mainly driven by Sayegh’s inclusion of Latinos in his administration as well as his continuous support of community based events for the advancement of the city.

Hispanic Political icon Carlos Garcia 91, who hosted many candidates at his Paterson home made it a point to attend this event with his grandson and show his support to Andre Sayegh.

In a surprise and most welcomed appearance, Antonio Ibarria, owner of El Especialito, the largest Spanish-language newspaper in New Jersey, made his way to historic Paterson, NJ to support Sayegh.

In a show of unison and packed house, Paterson Latino leaders largely from  the Dominican,Puerto Rican,  Peruvian and Colombian communities  came out to celebrate and back up Sayegh !
