Mayor-Elect Gusciora Announces Honorary Transition Committee

Trenton, NJ – Mayor-elect Gusciora today announced his honorary Transition Committee. The Mayor-Elect will call upon these valued public servants for their advice and counsel, as he prepares to take office on Sunday, July 1, 2018.

The honorary Transition Committee includes:

Senator Shirley Turner, Co-Chair

Peter Inverso (former State Senator), Co-Chair

Rep. Bonnie Watson-Coleman

County Executive Brian Hughes

Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson

Freeholder Samuel T. Frisby, Sr.

Mitch Livingston, President  & CEO, New Jersey Manufactures

The Assemblyman affirmed, “I am honored that these distinguished individuals agreed to help my team as I prepare to be Trenton’s mayor. Their support is incredibly important to me. I’m glad we can rely on them to help better our community. Trenton needs people who’ll come from both the ranks of government and the private sector to partner together and lift our Capital City.”

Earlier this week, Mayor-Elect Gusciora announced his transition co-chairs Anne LaBate, Jeannine LaRue, and Elvin Montero, who along with the honorary committee will help organize and facilitate the mayor-elect’s transition into office.

 

As required by law, Trenton’s 48th mayor will be sworn in before noon on July 1st.
