Mayor Fulop Joins Emergency Management Officials to Implement Preventative Measures in Jersey City amid International Coronavirus Pandemic

What: Mayor Fulop alongside health and public safety officials will reveal preventive measures to thwart global Covid-19 contagion in Jersey City – the nation’s most diverse city, and home to many foreign-born residents. Emergency management will outline further details surrounding the cancellation of all nonessential city-sponsored and/or city-involved functions. In addition, the city will detail clear requirements for non-city private events to minimize potential impacts of the virus.
At 9:50 a.m., all media is invited to photograph part of a closed-door meeting at the Office of Emergency Management, which will be followed by a 10 a.m. press conference where Jersey City officials will further discuss actions being taken to safeguard Jersey City residents.
