Mayor Fulop, Senator Stack, Craig Guy Hosting Fundraiser for Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee

Commitment to Raise $100K for Democratic Legislative Candidates

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Mayor Steven Fulop, Senator Brian Stack, Democratic nominee for Hudson County Executive Craig Guy and the Jersey City Democratic Committee will host a fundraiser next month where they plan to raise over $100,000 to benefit the Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee. The event will have Special Guests Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin and Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin McCabe.

“We hear all the rumors around the state from naysayers that would like to see Hudson County be fractured, but the truth is that we have never been more united and this will continue to become more and more apparent as we approach this important election and the next legislative session,” said Mayor Stack. “On October 12 Steve, Craig, Barbara and I are going to do the work needed to make sure that the state legislature stays in Democratic hands.”

“Senator Stack, Craig Guy and I have developed a very close relationship over the last couple of years and our goal is to make sure Hudson County’s voice is unified in supporting Democrats statewide,” said Mayor Fulop. “I want to thank Speaker Coughlin and Chairman McCabe for their friendship and all the work they are doing to move our state forward.”

The event will be held at the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten in Jersey City on Thursday, October 12th at 6:00 p.m.

“The stakes are very high in this year’s legislative elections and Hudson County Democrats are going to do everything we can to help candidates win statewide in November,” said Guy. “I’m ecstatic to be co-hosting this event and I believe it will be a tremendous success as well as more proof that Hudson County is ready to once again be one of the most significant players in state politics.”
