Mayor Gusciora Calls on Residents to Join City Boards and Commissions

TRENTON, N.J. – Today, Mayor W. Reed Gusciora invited qualified residents of Trenton to apply for various vacancies on City of Trenton boards and commissions, such as the Planning Board and the Capital City Redevelopment Corporation.

“We need maximum participation from our citizens for the City of Trenton to achieve peak performance,” Mayor Gusciora said. “These boards and commissions end up playing roles in our life decisions, our business ventures, and our community outcomes. These become the governmental touchpoints for our residents. Becoming a part of the government, participating in our democracy starts here. We need you.”

While some appointments are made by Mayor Gusciora directly, other positions require his recommendation to Gov. Phil Murphy for appointment. The specific seats are listed below and residents are encouraged submit their resume at bit.ly/TrentonBoards.
