Mayor Gusciora to Promote Pro-Union City Ordinance

Trenton N.J. – Mayor Reed Gusciora will be holding a press conference on the front steps of Trenton City Hall on Monday, July 29th at 11:00 a.m.

The Mayor will be promoting a proposed ordinance which, if approved by council, would help supplement the City’s workforce. The City has a need to employ members of local unions. This statute authorizes a Memorandum of Agreement with the Mercer County Building and Construction Trades Council to temporarily hire qualified individuals for public works projects.

The legislation is slated to go before City Council later that week.

The Mayor will be joined by US Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman, NJ District 14 & 15 Legislators, union representatives, and representatives from Trenton and Hamilton City Councils.
