Mayor Moench Announces His First Public Outreach Initiative
BRIDGEWATER, NJ – This week, Mayor Matthew Moench announced the first of his Administration’s new initiatives to increase public outreach and improve transparency, “Kitchen Table Q&A with Mayor Moench.” Residents can fill out an online form to send their questions to the Mayor. The Mayor and his staff will begin answering questions on topics that have general interest to the public by video beginning on February 3rd. Questions that are not conducive to a public video or are specific to an individual resident will be addressed by email or phone call. Bridgewater residents can find the link on the Bridgewater Township website. It was also sent via email to all residents who have signed up to receive Township emails and posted on the Township’s social media platforms.
“My staff and I will read and respond to every question,” said Mayor Moench. “We want this to be an open and responsive government and we hope this vehicle will be an effective way for our residents to express their questions and concerns, and to answer questions in a public manner when possible so all residents can be informed. This is the first of several outreach initiatives that I will be announcing over the coming weeks and months.”
This vehicle is intended to provide a method for residents who share common questions and concerns to get those issues addressed in a public forum. It does not replace contacting the township directly on any matter impacting a resident.
The link can be found on the Township websites home page at www.bridgewaternj.gov.
