MAYOR SACCO SAYS FOCUS SHOULD BE ON UNION CITY STATE AID SCANDAL, NOT BRIAN STACK’S “DELUSIONAL PARANOIA AND LUST FOR POWER”

MAYOR SACCO SAYS FOCUS SHOULD BE ON UNION CITY STATE AID SCANDAL, NOT BRIAN STACK’S “DELUSIONAL PARANOIA AND LUST FOR POWER”

NORTH BERGEN — Earlier this week a group of independent internet activists led by Leroy Truth who are investigating corruption and harassment by Union City Mayor Brian Stack made one thing very clear at a press conference: they have never had any contact with North Bergen Mayor Nick Sacco.

“Brian Stack has been falsely claiming that me and other mayors and officials are involved with these investigations,” said Mayor Sacco. “The press conference earlier this week proves that is completely false and nothing more than a bunch of outright lies.”

Sacco says Stack suffers from a “delusional paranoia” and is trying to take over Jersey City and all of Hudson County. “He has a lust for power that is disturbing and unprecedented.”

OVER $300 MILLION STATE TAX DOLLARS FUEL STACK’S UNION CITY POLITICAL MACHINE.

“Union City gets a ridiculous amount of over $300 Million in State Aid and Stack uses it to pay hundreds of employees who are political workers that he sends into other towns like Jersey City,” said Mayor Sacco. “Every New Jersey taxpayer is financing Stack’s political machine. This isn’t just political patronage, it reeks of outright corruption.”

Sacco says Union City schools will get $241.8 Million from the state this year to educate about 11,000 students. Jersey City will receive $133.6 Million to serve about 31,000 students. “Union City is getting over $100 Million more tax dollars than Jersey City and has one third the number of students,” adds Sacco. “Anyone can see that this is wrong. The question is how can this be happening.”

North Bergen schools will receive just $70 Million dollars to educate about 7,500 students in the coming school year. “Kennedy Boulevard is our common border but Union City gets over three times the amount of state aid,” said Sacco.

Sacco adds that Union City was just awarded an additional $42 Million in special state transition aid to prop up the city budget. “This $42 Million is twice as much as they got last year. On a per capita basis this is a scandal when compared to what other towns receive.”

The real question is how much more New Jersey taxpayers will be forced to pay to finance Stack’s Political Machine – and why this is happening – and who benefits.
