Mayor Steve Lonegan Receives Endorsement from National Right to Life

Solidifies bona fides as the only 100% pro-life candidate in New Jersey’s 5th District

Township of Washington, N.J. – Mayor Steve Lonegan has received his latest major endorsement this week from National Right to Life, the nation’s foremost pro-life organization. The endorsement solidifies Mayor Lonegan’s bona fides as the only candidate in New Jersey’s 5th District fully committed to defending the lives of unborn children.

“I am proud to add the National Right to Life endorsement to that of New Jersey Right to Life,” Lonegan said.  “That’s in contrast with both my pro-abortion opponents, each of whom endorse Roe v. Wade and support the procedure up until the ninth month of pregnancy.”

“When I am in Congress, I will be unwavering in my support of defending children in the womb and I will do everything to prevent taxpayer funds being used to subsidize abortions, including cutting off funding to groups like Planned Parenthood.”

In addition to the endorsements from National Right to Life and New Jersey Right to Life, Mayor Lonegan has been endorsed by numerous pro-life leaders in the state Legislature, including state Senators Steve Oroho, Gerald Cardinale, Joe Pennacchio, and Mike Doherty, as well as Assembly members BettyLou DeCroce, Holly Schepisi, Parker Space and Hal Wirths.
