Mazzeo and Armato Statement on Casino Closures Due to COVID-19

            (TRENTON) – In response to the announcement by Governor Phil Murphy that all casinos statewide will close as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Assemblymen Vince Mazzeo and John Armato (both D-Atlantic) released the following joint statement:

            “We know it is in the best of interest of public health to exercise an abundance of caution during this pandemic. The health and safety of casino workers and patrons is our utmost priority.

            “Today, the Assembly will pass strong legislation intended to support families, workers and the business community during these challenging times. We will continue to work find comprehensive solutions to help our state get through this crisis and emerge stronger.”
