I am thrilled by the apparent victory of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the New York primary election for Congress.
I consider Ocasio-Cortez my soul-sister on the issues that really mean somethings to the working people in America who have found few genuine advocates in this time of legal bribery, and complacency in the face of evil.
While the progressive movement has scored some near-misses, I have never doubted that our eventual success is just a matter of time and perseverance. This will be counted as an important step forward towarda brand new day in America.
Congratulations to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and to all the Democratic primary voters who contributed to this historic victory.
