Freshta is also a proud co-author of a handbook that provides practical tools for delivering services to vulnerable populations, and her expertise has been featured in national outlets like The New York Times. Her efforts have earned her numerous accolades, including recognition by InsiderNJ and the Eva Stitt Award from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Development.
