Bucco Votes Against Supporting Working Families, First Responders and Schools

Bucco’s false claim to bipartisanship was once again dismantled when he voted against supporting working families, first responders and LD-25 schools last Thursday.

September 2020 Bucco Voted Against:

  • Property Tax Relief – $500 tax rebate for nearly 800,000 New Jerseyans

  • Supporting Mental Health and Addiction Services

  • Funding the Zero Suicide Program

  • Funding Women’s Health and Family Planning

  • Expanding Higher Education

  • Growing Pre-K to 12 education

  • Creating Clean Energy Economy

  • Funding Support for NJ Transit

  • Providing Funding for NJ’s Pension System

  • Hospital Funding

  • Gun Safety

  • Criminal Justice Reform

“It is evident Bucco stands for special interest groups. He has consistently fought for the rights of millionaires and corporations. We  need a leader who will stand up for every resident in the district and Bucco once again proves that he is not that leader. This is a new low even for Bucco.

This budget is vital in the time of COVID-19 and provides a lifeline for many working families. During these unprecedented pandemic times, we have to support funding to mental health, addiction services, education and hospitals. I support the expansion of all these resources. If elected, I will vote in favor of children and support working families in LD-25. It is essential that we help New Jerseyans during this urgent time of need” said Rupande Mehta, candidate for LD-25 State Senate.
