MEMIC Hires Brennan as New Jersey Safety Management Consultant

WEEHAKEN, New Jersey – Thomas Brennan of Philadelphia has been hired as a Safety Management Consultant by workers’ compensation specialist The MEMIC Group to support their continued growth in the New Jersey market.

Brennan has more than 20 years of occupational safety experience in the manufacturing and insurance industries working on a wide array of safety and health issues including OSHA compliance, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, safety training/orientation and accident investigations. He has effectively supported organizations in a broad range of industries including healthcare, hospitality, retail, transportation, construction and agriculture.

Brennan graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in safety science and from Penn State University with an MBA. He has earned his Associates in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designations.

“My approach to occupational safety is to first listen to my clients and learn as much as I can about their business, their operations and their challenges,” said Brennan. “An effective safety culture does not hinder operations, just the opposite, it enhances all aspects of the business including quality, efficiency and customer service.
