Menendez, Norcross to Discuss Health Care Fight ahead of Trump SCOTUS Pick

 

NEWARK, N.J. – On Monday, July 9, 2018, U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee that sets national health policy, and Congressman Donald Norcross (N.J.-01), a member of the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions, will visit CAMcare Gateway Health Center, a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Camden to discuss their continued efforts to expand access to affordable health care.  They will also address the looming battle over President Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court nomination that could jeopardize the Affordable Care Act (ACA), protections for patients with pre-existing conditions, women’s health and reproductive rights.  The lawmakers will be joined by patients, doctors and health experts.
