MERCER COUNTY CENTRAL LABOR COUNCIL ENDORSES MARTIN, PAPERO AND PHILLIPS IN HAMILTON, NJ

Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried, a Republicaton, was spied at a fundraiser for Hamilton NJ democratic mayoral candidate Jeff Martin. Should Martin win the primary election, he would run against either Republican Mayor Kelly Yaede or Yaede’s Republican challenger, Dave Henderson.

HAMILTON, NJ – On Friday, September 13th the Mercer County Central Labor Council (MCCLC) voted endorsements of Jeff Martin for Hamilton Mayor and Pat Papero and Nancy Phillips for Hamilton Council.

Council President Jeff Martin, candidate for Hamilton Mayor said “I am humbled by the endorsement and support of our working men and women of the Mercer County Central Labor Council. Our campaign is committed to bringing good-paying, local jobs to Hamilton that will ultimately benefit our local economy and benefit every resident in our town.”

“As a PBA Local 187 delegate, I understand firsthand the importance of unions for helping working-class families like mine earn a living and I am honored to have their support”, said Pat Papero.

Nancy Phillips added, “As a proud union member I am truly thankful for the support and dedication from the Central Labor Council in our fight to increase the quality of life for everyone in Hamilton”.

Labor Council Secretary-Treasurer Michele Liebtag issued a statement calling Jeff Martin, Pat Papero and Nancy Phillips “true friends of the labor movement.” Liebtag continued, “Labor proudly stands with Martin, Papero and Phillips here in Hamilton because they will fight for our working families who are the backbone of our community”.
