Mercury Public Affairs Promotes Randy Minniear to Partner

Saddle Brook, NJ - Mercury Public Affairs, a leading national bipartisan public strategy firm, today announced it has promoted Randy Minniear to Partner.

“Randy is a big part of Mercury’s success in New Jersey, and I am proud to see him elevated to partner,” said Mercury Partner Michael Soliman, who leads the New Jersey office and helps guide the firm’s national strategy. “For years, we have seen Randy’s hard work and expertise lead to successful outcomes for our clients, making him highly respected throughout New Jersey government, politics and business. I’m proud to call him my colleague and am happy to now call him my partner.”

Randy joined Mercury’s New Jersey office in 2019. He is one of the state's most highly-regarded government affairs professionals, both within the healthcare industry and throughout state government. Randy was previously named the #1 Healthcare Lobbyist in New Jersey by NJ Spotlight and is regularly listed among the top healthcare lobbyists in the state. Over the course of his 25-year career, Randy has served inside state government as Chief of Staff to a Senate President/Acting Governor, ran the advocacy arm of the state’s leading hospital trade association and prior to joining Mercury, served as Executive Vice President for external affairs at a fully integrated health system in North Jersey.

“I am humbled to work with this amazing group of dynamic and respected professionals,” said Minniear.  “Mercury truly sets the standard for talent and client service in the public affairs industry. I look forward to contributing to the firm’s continued success and making a meaningful impact for our clients."

“Randy knows how to get things done,” said Mercury Partner Mo Butler. “I’ve enjoyed working with him since he joined Mercury and have seen how his experience and quick thinking helps clients navigate even the most difficult situations. This promotion to partner is well-deserved.”

Randy is Chair of the Board for Preferred Behavioral Health Group and serves on the Board of Trustees for Oaks Integrated Care.
