Michelle Pirone Lambros, Candidate for Princeton Council, to Hold Campaign Kickoff Event

WHO: A second generation Italian American, Michelle is a Princeton native with roots in
the community going back 100 years. Her candidacy is motivated by a desire to
preserve Princeton’s unique small town qualities through conscientious and
inclusive progress, and to foster more collaboration between local government
and its diverse residents and small businesses. In 2018, Emerge America, the
nation’s premier organization that recruits, trains and provides a powerful
network to Democratic women seeking to run for office, selected Michelle, and
18 other women in New Jersey, for their training program. Michelle has been
serving the Princeton community in a variety of capacities, including the Zoning
Board of Adjustment, the Princeton Merchants Association, the Greater
Princeton Chamber of Commerce, the Italian American Sportsmen’s Club, and
the Arts Council. She has been an active member of the Princeton Community
Democratic Organization, where she helped several of Congressional candidates
during the midterm elections, and was most recently Nominating Committee
Chair of the PCDO. A veteran entrepreneur, her newest venture, Princeton
Promotions, launched the first-ever Princeton Restaurant Week, which will take
place March 10-17, 2019. Michelle holds an M.A. in International Affairs from
The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and a B.A. in Political
Science from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. She is married to George
Lambros, and has three sons, one at Boston University and the other two at
Princeton High School.
