Middlesex and Union Counties welcome Coral Spring Police Department for case study presentation

 

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – On Monday, October 24 the Middlesex County and Union County Prosecutor’s Offices welcomed two members of the Coral Springs Police Department located in Florida to present key findings and lessons learned from a case study of the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas School Shooting which took place in Parkland, Florida. The event featured presenters Sergeant Giovanni Vullo and Captain Scott Myers of the Coral Springs PD.

An audience of over 500 Middlesex and Union County Prosecutor’s Office staff, law enforcement personnel; school resource officers; juvenile detectives; school superintendents; school principals; administrators; school security personnel; and emergency management coordinators from both counties attended the presentation to learn from the officers.
