Middlesex County announces Business Series, kicking off on June 29 with ‘Leading Where We Live’ webinar

Senator Cory Booker and County Commissioner Chanelle Scott McCulum to join as Guest Speakers

Event to be held virtually Tuesday, June 29 at 9 am

WHAT:               The first webinar for this year’s Business Series, Leading Where We Live, will explore the power of generosity, and highlight those businesses that are digging deep to help their colleagues despite also being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the County and the community lead together, each panelist will examine what their organizations have learned and offer insights and recommendations on how to make a positive impact and build resilience in the community as we enter the “next normal.” This free event is open to the public and media.

The Business Summit was established over five years ago to connect the business community within Middlesex County with relevant resources available to them. This year’s Business Series will include one additional virtual event, Leading Locally in the 4th Industrial Revolution, on September 9, leading up to Middlesex County’s Annual Business Summit which will be held this fall. The addition of this mini-series will help illustrate how Middlesex County continues to implement the County’s future-forward economic development strategy as part of a larger strategic planning initiative, Destination 2040.  More information to follow on the upcoming events.

WHEN:               Tuesday, June 29 from 9 – 10:15 am
