Mikie Sherrill Endorses Soriano for Mayor of Parsippany, Herbig and Hernandez for Council
Parsippany, NJ — Today, Representative Mikie Sherrill announced her endorsement of Mayor Michael Soriano and Council candidates Cori Herbig and Judy Hernandez. Last week, she made a special appearance at a reception in support of the candidates and said the following:
“What you’ve heard here tonight, what you heard from Michael, isn’t a Democratic agenda. It is an agenda to make sure the men and women of Parsippany have the support they need to thrive, that we can make sure that everyone has access to a great job, to a great future. That’s what you’re hearing and that’s what we’re building right now.”
Rep. Sherrill cited the slate of candidate’s dedication to working to ensure a better future for families across Parsippany in her endorsement, saying the following:
“The slate here in Parsippany represents the best of New Jersey values and showcases the leadership needed to continue to move the town into the future. Now more than ever, we need local officials who are singularly focused on improving the lives of families across our communities. As we continue to combat the pandemic, build an economic recovery that works for everyone, and make historic investments to restore our infrastructure and keep our nation competitive, I know these candidates are up to the task. I could not be prouder to endorse Mayor Michael Soriano’s re-election and the election of Cori Herbig and Judy Hernandez.”
