Monmouth County Democratic Chairman, David Brown, Endorses Stephanie Schmid for Congress
Monmouth County Democratic Chairman David Brown is proudly endorsing Stephanie Schmid to be the 2020 Democratic nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th District. Stephanie won the Monmouth County Democratic Convention in April, earning 62% of the votes cast, securing the party’s endorsement and her place on the organizational line in all three counties across NJ-04.
“Stephanie has worked tirelessly to meet with folks throughout Monmouth County, listening to their needs and ensuring our community that she is a present and responsive leader who will work on behalf of all of us in Washington,” Chairman Brown said. “I was impressed to see Stephanie and her campaign volunteer their time to help our local candidates running for election last fall, and I continue to be impressed with her dedication to this race and to our community during this crisis. We share a commitment to helping elect democrats running up and down the ballot. I look forward to working with Stephanie and her campaign to ensure victory in 2020.”

Stephanie is a New Jersey native, a retired U.S. Foreign Service Officer and Diplomat who served our country overseas on behalf of the U.S. Department of State, and a human rights litigation attorney and advocate. She’s running to bring new leadership to Congress at a time when we need our leaders to solve pressing challenges and create opportunities for the people of New Jersey.
