Moorestown Republican Leaders Endorse Kate Gibbs for Congress
As proud Moorestonians and leaders in our community, we are joining with the members of the Moorestown Republican Municipal Committee in endorsing Kate Gibbs for Congress in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.
Kate has always been someone we could count on to deliver results for her constituents. Thanks to her leadership on the Burlington County Freeholder Board, Moorestown received grant funding for cleaning up Strawbridge Lake, building our town’s first dog park, and improving security in our Moorestown schools; she endorsed the efforts of our then Republican Council majority to the federal government, helping secure a nearly $1M grant for improvements to the Lenola business district of our town; and she delivered tax cuts and infrastructure improvements to all of Burlington County.
When the “blue wave” crashed in 2018, Kate was the only Republican on the ballot to still carry Moorestown. That year, she ran approximately 11,000 votes ahead of former Congressman Tom MacArthur in Burlington County in a race that the Congressman only lost by about 3,500 votes.
Kate is tough, intelligent, and is a proven leader. Her experience and deep-rooted history in this district will make her an exceptional Congresswoman for the people of Burlington and Ocean counties. We are proud to stand with her in the Republican primary in June and into the November election.
