Morris County COVID-19 Freeholder Board Meeting to be Held Via Call-In on Wednesday
County Governing Board Meeting Remotely Due to Public Health Situation
Due to public health issues arising from the coronavirus situation, the Morris County Board of Freeholders will “meet’’ on Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m., and will handle county government business remotely, via a conference call.
County residents are invited to listen and will have an opportunity to make comments.
“Due to COVID-19 public health needs, we have to exercise caution when it comes to group gatherings to ensure social distancing. But we still have an obligation to continue operating county government in an open and transparent manner,’’ said Freeholder Director Deborah Smith. “So, we invite county residents to listen in or participate via their phones.’’
