Morris Dems Vice-Chair Lisa Bhimani Endorses Cliff Dawkins

MENDHAM, NJ — Morris County Democratic Committee Vice-Chairwoman Dr. Lisa Bhimani has endorsed LD 25 State Senate candidate Cliff Dawkins. Having run for State Senate and State Assembly in recent years and nearly unseated Anthony Bucco, Dr. Bhimani has built relationships with voters and community leaders throughout the 25th District.

“In order to win in LD25 this year, our nominee must be able to build a coalition of moderate Republicans, new voters, and voters of color. Through his years of community service in our district, Cliff has deep roots in the communities where we will need the highest voter turnout, and he showed from his race last year that he can win over moderate Republicans. Cliff is unquestionably the best candidate to take on Anthony Bucco this November.”

Beating Bucco this November will not be easy, but it is only possible because of the work that Lisa Bhimani and her running mates have done in previous years. Cliff Dawkins is a Democratic Candidate for State Senate in the LD25 Special Election. Dawkins is an attorney specializing in Labor and Employment law. He also serves on several professional organization and nonprofit boards, including the Urban League of Morris County, the Garden State Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division, and the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Civil Practice.

Cliff Dawkins resides in Rockaway Borough with his wife and their two children.
