BAYONNE- Last night at Kuhl’s Tavern in Bayonne, N.J. Michael Mulcahy had a fundraiser for the upcoming November  6 school board election. Mulcahy spoke about teachers’ plight, his parents and 3 siblings, all former teachers, looked on from the crowd of about 100 people packed in the small back room of the cozy Bayonne Tavern.

My pledge to you is that I will fight every day to make the Bayonne schools the best they can be. I will fight in Trenton, I will fight at the county level, I will fight for grants at the National level, and most importantly I will fight for Bayonne Taxpayers,” said Mulcahy, the first time candidate with strong roots in Bayonne’s Irish Community.

In attendance were former Bayonne Assemblyman Jason O’Donnell, former Bayonne City Council President Terry Ruane, former HCDO Executive Director  and current Aide to Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, John Minella, numerous former Bayonne Council-people and council candidates, and several current Bayonne teachers and administrators.
