NEW JERSEY CANNABIS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS HOST CANNABIS LEGALIZATION AND SOCIAL EQUITY IN THE GARDEN STATE ZOOM DISCUSSION ON “CHALLENGES, CHOICES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN TRENTON” ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2021 FROM 3:00PM-5:00PM (EST)
The Black Cannabis Equity Initiative(BCEI) and the Capital City Area Black Caucus in conjunction with a host of community organizations, cannabis thought experts, business leaders and social equity voices from throughout New Jersey are sponsoring an Inside Cannabis Social Equity in New Jersey zoom discussion on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm(EST). This BCEI virtual discussion will be an opportunity to bring stakeholders together on this cannabis legalization journey to share insights and perspectives as well as hear cannabis updates from national, state and the City of Trenton representatives, presentations on Access to Capital and a Community Leadership “Hot Topics” discussion with local Trenton community leaders and social equity advocates.

Trenton is a city impacted by the War on Drugs and how it responds as well as prepares for the journey forward is important and could set the tone for legalized adult use in New Jersey.”
