New Jersey Democratic State Committee Adds Additional Training Session for Democrats Interested in Running for Office

TRENTON, N.J. — After an overwhelming response to this year’s candidate training sessions, the New Jersey Democratic State Committee is announcing a fourth event in Burlington County. This is in addition to the three trainings being held in Morris, Bergen and Ocean counties to provide Democrats interested in running for office and their campaign staffs with the tools and resources they need to be successful.

The Burlington County training session will be held on April 14. Anyone interested in attending should pre-register online. The Morris County event will be held on March 23 at the County College of Morris, 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph. The Bergen County event will be on March 24 at Bergen County College, 400 Paramus Road in Paramus.

Additional information about the Ocean and Burlington County events will be announced in the coming weeks.

“In just a few short days, hundreds of Democratic candidates and operatives have registered to attend our training sessions to prepare the best leaders to run for office,” said NJDSC Chairman John Currie. “The overwhelming response to these events makes it clear that the members of our party are prepared to fight for the values of New Jersey voters. By providing these individuals with the resources they need, we are preparing ourselves to elect more Democrats and progressives up and down the ballot this coming Election Day.
