NEW JERSEY DEMOCRATS OFFER CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY, CONSTITUENTS OF NUTLEY LEADER CARMEN A. ORECHIO

[Trenton] — New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman John Currie expressed condolences on the passing of former Senate President Carmen A. Orechio, who also served as a Commissioner and Mayor in Nutley.

“Carmen A. Orechio was a friend and a legendary leader, both in the state legislature and in his community. His passing is a loss to all those who knew him,” said Chairman Currie. “I am confident that he will be remembered as someone who was wholeheartedly dedicated to the people he served and to improving their lives in tangible ways. On behalf of all New Jersey Democrats, I offer condolences to Carmen’s family and to those people who had the good fortune of being among his constituents.”
