NEW JERSEY DIVISION OF TRAVEL & TOURISM RECEIVES 2024 SMART MEETINGS PLATINUM CHOICE AWARD
TRENTON, NJ, December 2, 2024 – The New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism (NJTT) was named a Smart Meetings 2024 Platinum Choice award winner, honoring NJTT for its exceptional dedication and service to the meetings industry.
“We are deeply grateful that Smart Meetings recognizes New Jersey as a premier destination for meetings and events,” said NJTT Executive Director Jeff Vasser. “This award is made possible by the venues, destinations and people that deliver high-quality experiences to groups in our state. Our organization will continue to work closely with industry partners to demonstrate why New Jersey is a little state that offers a lot of wow.”
Reflecting the diversity of its people, geography, and attractions, New Jersey provides a variety of venues and experiences tailored to the unique needs of each group – from incentive and executive retreats to corporate meetings and conferences. Venue options range from oceanfront convention centers and historic mansions to sports stadiums and country clubs.
The Garden State also features 750,000 acres full of farmland, with a variety of orchards, farms, and wineries available for agritourism-based meeting and events. Additionally, more than 50 state parks and forests allow for nature immersion and strong team building opportunities for a memorable experience. Those looking to mix business with pleasure will also find an array of dining, entertainment, arts and culture, and historic attractions for a well-rounded experience throughout the state combining business and leisure.
