New Jersey Future Statement on Governor Murphy’s Budget Address

New Jersey Future Executive Director Peter Kasabach released the following statement on Governor Murphy’s 2020 Budget Address:

“New Jersey is coming off a year that made clear that we can no longer ignore our infrastructure challenges if we want to ensure a safe, healthy, and prosperous state. Whether we’re talking NJ Transit, our water infrastructure or any infrastructure at risk due to climate change, it is clear that the types of investments Governor Murphy touched on in his speech are crucial. We are hopeful that the Legislature will be supportive of these priorities and that a fuller funding plan, particularly one that addresses the public health threat of lead in drinking water, is developed.”
