NEW JERSEY LCV CONGRATULATES ASSEMBLYMAN CALABRESE ON ASSIGNMENT TO ASSEMBLY ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE

TRENTON – The following statement is from Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, congratulating Assemblyman Clinton Calabrese (LD-36) on his assignment to the New Jersey Assembly Environment and Solid Waste Committee.

“Assembly Environment just gained a pro-conservation champion. We are excited to have Assemblyman Calabrese join the Assembly committee responsible for addressing critical environmental priorities throughout our state,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey LCV. “He is a prime sponsor of 100% clean energy legislation and co-sponsored the electric vehicle bill and the cumulative impacts law. Assemblyman Calabrese has also been a driving force for the “Save the Bees Act,” which would establish the nation’s strongest restrictions on bee-killing pesticides. We look forward to working with him to drive the “Save the Bees Act” over the finish line, and on additional pro-conservation policies to protect our state for our children and grandchildren.”

New Jersey League of Conservation Voters is a non-partisan organization whose mission is to elect environmental champions, hold public officials accountable, and support laws which protect our environment and improve the quality of people’s lives.
