New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, State Senator Teresa Ruiz to Join Biden for President & New Jersey Democratic State Committee for First New Jersey Women for Biden Phone Bank
On Sunday, September 27, New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, and New Jersey State Senator Teresa Ruiz will join Biden for President and the New Jersey Democratic State Committee (NJDSC) for the first virtual New Jersey Women for Biden phone bank. The event will also feature Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, Asw Summer, Stephanie Schmid, Amy Kennedy, S. Nadia Hussain, and Sue Altman.
During the event, Lieutenant Governor Oliver, First Lady Murphy, and Congresswoman Watson Coleman will discuss what is at stake in November for women’s rights, why we need to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and the importance of volunteering with the Biden campaign. During the phone bank, volunteers will make calls into critical battleground states to have conversations with voters about the importance of turning out to vote for Biden and Harris.
The event is spearheaded by Biden for President, NJDSC Women’s Caucus, Jersey Girls 4 Joe, NJ 11 for Change, and Africans for Biden.
