NEW JERSEY REENTRY SERVICES COMMISSION TO RELEASE REPORT ON WOMEN REENTRY SERVICES
TRENTON – On Monday, September 21th at 11:30am in the Alcove of the State House in Trenton, the New Jersey Reentry Services Commission will release a comprehensive report detailing action items for the Commission to review.
Elected officials, experts, and most importantly women who have experienced state prison will share their commitment to improve the delivery of women reentry services in five specific areas: healthcare, employment, domestic violence, family reunification and housing. They will speak on the gaps in the treatment and service delivery network, which jeopardizes the ability of the returning person to maintain sobriety, healthy living, and employment.
Remarks will be offered from NJRC women participants who served time at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women.
