New Jersey Republicans to Murphy and Democrat majority: We’ll see you in court

For Immediate Release
Trenton – Today it was announced that the Senate has agreed to a plan to borrow up to $10 Billion, backed by Phil Murphy and the Assembly Democrats. In response to the agreement, Assembly Republican Leader Bramnick, Senator Oroho, and Chairman Steinhardt issued the following statement:
“Today the Democrats in our state agreed to pile billions more in debt onto our children and grandchildren’s shoulders. This debt plan is bad policy, and without voter approval is clearly unconstitutional. We will file suit to stop it.”
The NJGOP, Assembly Republicans, and Senate Republicans previously vowed to exercise all legal options available to prevent this unconstitutional borrowing.
