New Jersey Society of CPAs Applauds Don Meyer for Achieving the CAE Credential
ROSELAND, N.J. – The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) is pleased to announce that Don Meyer, chief marketing officer at NJCPA, has obtained his Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. The CAE is given by the American Society of Association Executives to individuals who have demonstrated a wide range of knowledge essential to managing an association in today’s challenging environment and understand sound association management practices.
Don has been the chief marketing officer at the NJCPA for the past 15 years, responsible for setting the vision, strategy and direction for the organization’s marketing, communications and membership campaigns and for driving the success of a deep and broad swath of organizational initiatives. He also oversees market research and the organization’s advocacy and legislative communications. Don came to the NJCPA from the Craft & Hobby Association, where he was the director of marketing and public relations.
“Don is a true asset to this organization, having created many ways to engage our members over the years,” said Ralph Albert Thomas, CPA (DC), CGMA, CEO and executive director at the NJCPA. “The CAE credential furthers Don’s ability to lead the marketing efforts of our organization and to assist members with growing their businesses and bringing the CPA profession forward.”
