Long Branch – Yesterday, the NJFMBA announced their endorsement of the Democratic ticket for State Senate and State Assembly in New Jersey’s 11th legislative district. The NJFMBA represents New Jersey’s firefighters, EMTs, and dispatchers and stands with candidates who support their work and members in Trenton.
“We are excited to support such a strong team in Monmouth County. Eric and Joann have been great allies in Trenton and I am thrilled to see Vin Gopal join the team,” stated Eddie Donnelly, President, NJFMBA.
“Through all the years I have known Vin he has shown himself to be a friend to professional firefighters all across New Jersey. More importantly, the electoral victories he has spearheaded have made him a proven winner and the sort of leader that will use his strong voice to bring the positive change that Trenton so badly needs.”
Vin Gopal, Democratic candidate for State Senate in LD11 thanked the Association for the endorsement.
“As a former volunteer EMT and volunteer with the Long Branch Fire Department, I know the type of incredible work that the members of the NJFMBA do,” said Vin Gopal. “I am honored to have the support of this association and excited to represent these Monmouth County men and women, and their families, in Trenton.”
Assemblymembers Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey also thanked the FMBA for their support.
“We are proud to receive an endorsement from the NJFMBA,” said Assemblywoman Downey. “The work the members of FMBA do everyday is irreplaceable. We are honored to represent these men and women in Trenton.”
