NEW RSLC Ads Expose New Jersey Democrats for Keeping Parents Out of the Classroom

Washington D.C.— The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) released a new wave of digital ads today underscoring how New Jersey Democrats want to shut out parents from having a say in their children’s education.

The 30-second five-figure ads will air in four districts and highlight how Governor Murphy and state Democrats are in lockstep with D.C. liberals- embracing a radical school curriculum that excludes parental rights- all while state Republicans continue to push for empowering parents. 

“By pushing an extremely divisive curriculum in schools, Trenton Democrats think they know better than New Jersey parents. NARRATOR: Parents matter and nothing is more important than standing up for them and protecting our children. That’s what New Jersey Republicans are fighting for in Trenton. But Governor Murphy sided with extreme D.C. liberals as he pushed through a radical curriculum that keeps parents out of the classroom. And New Jersey Democrats stayed silent for too long. They knew it was wrong then and now it’s too late. Put our children before politics and vote for state Republicans this November. 

BACKGROUND

The RSLC in May released their 2023/2024 state target memo highlighting New Jersey as a state where Republicans can defend their wins from 2021 as well as build off those gains.
