Chat Box and  Reporters Roundtable season premieres on broadcast and streaming 

September 14, 2023 – NEWARK, NJ – NJ PBS announced its popular public affairs series Chat Box with David Cruz and Reporters Roundtable with David Cruz will launch new seasons this week. All programs are available to stream after broadcast on MyNJPBS.org. 

Chat Box with David Cruz, airing Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on NJ PBS (check local listings) features topical discussion about New Jersey issues, from politics to the arts.  The series kicks off its new season with moderator and NJ Spotlight News Sr. Political Correspondent David Cruz hosting a conversation with NJ Governor Phil Murphy. Can’t wait until the weekend? The weekly program will be available online prior to the broadcast at a new time on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel: Thursdays at 6 p.m. Watch this show after broadcast and previous episodes on MyNJPBS.org. 

Reporters Roundtable with David Cruz, airs Saturdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. on NJ PBS (check local listings). Each week Cruz interviews special guests and a panel of local reporters breaks down top NJ and national headlines. In this season’s opener, Cruz and former Asm. John Wisniewski discuss Bridgegate 10 years later and its potential effect on former Gov. Chris Christie’s presidential bid and more. Guest reporters slated to participate this week are Charlie Stile (The Record), Jessie Gómez (Chalkbeat Newark) and Matt Arco (NJ Advance Media) (subject to change). Like Chat Box, Reporters Roundtable will be made available prior to the broadcast on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel at a new time, Fridays at 12 p.m., and post on MyNJPBS.org after broadcast.
