New Study – Most Dangerous Roads in New Jersey

With companies looking to bring their employees back into the office, the workforce has many factors to consider. Traffic safety is important to consider as people travel on roads and highways.

 

In AdvisorSmith’s new study, we examined 53 interstate highways and state roads to find the “Most Dangerous Roads in New Jersey.” From our research we found that:

 

  • In New Jersey, there was an average of 11.5 fatalities per 100 miles of road. The range of deaths per 100 miles was as low as 3.8 and as high as 72.6.

  • The most dangerous road in New Jersey was SR-129 located in Trenton, where there were 72.6 annual fatalities per 100 miles.

  • The road that has the least annual fatalities in New Jersey (among federal and state highways) was SR-94, in Warren County. There were only 3.8 annual fatalities per 100 miles.
